On my last post about the Law of Opposites I mentioned that there was a controversial topic that not much people has dared to discuss openly, and that even less times has appeared in all the books and courses about “how to create your own reality”, “how to grow rich” or “how to manifest your wishes”. If it is so easy to learn how to manifest the house of our dreams, the love of our life, the money we always wanted, the perfect job, etc, why don’t we send thousands of these courses and books to all those who are suffering, who are starving in Africa, who live in countries under foreign exploitation, in the middle of wars or in less than acceptable living conditions, so they use the Law of Attraction to change their thoughts and the life they have?
In theory, that could seem so easy as teaching everyone to use the methods of thinking the right thoughts, use proper visualization, learn how to vibrate at the right frequency of our wish and get it manifested in our reality. But, if this is so, are we saying that the people who is starving, dying because the war in Darfur or do not have water to drink is because they are not “thinking properly”? Something is wrong with this statement, isn’t it? There must be another answer to that question.
Personally I did not have it, if it is possible to have the right answer, till I read some explanations from Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God). The answer came then and I understood at least, that, in reality, the cause of the suffering of a big part of humanity, is simply the way humans think. Although it is not that simple as the sentence pretends to be. It is not just because the people suffering are having the “wrong” thoughts, it is due to the “wrong” thoughts of the whole planet.
Destiny manifested
It was necessary to have an insight sitting quietly on a beach and having had to write a whole bunch or articles about the Law of Attraction to understand that, for many people, their suffering and their problems, since the moment they are born, makes them truly believe that their reality is the only reality they can live, therefore, they do not find a way to, even remotely, manifest something different that whatever they have known since they were born in their community. As Neale was saying,”this is the life I got, and it is what it is”. Many people has surrender, and stop fighting (they could not, they did not find the way) to change their world, the modify the existence they inherited for having been born in one country or in another.
The thoughts of the people who is suffering, in this case, has also a strong role in the manifestation of their reality, simply because they have found already some scenarios, some conditions and some structures which have been quickly integrated within their way to see the world. Few of them have the energy and the strength to see that even just a tiny bit, their reality can be changed, and with it, change and modify the conditions they live in.
Anyhow, this is not the real problem either.
The main issue is that hunger and suffering in many cultures, regions or ethnic groups are being maintained and kept, and many times amplified, by the collective conscious of humanity. The collective mind of all beings in the planet, those who live in abundance and those who live in misery, whose who are happy and those who are not, those who are starving and those how eat everyday in restaurants. Because many of us, living in “this side”, project and keep projecting on the collective mind the image we have of those who are “on that other side”, which makes in turn that the reality of those “on the other side”, keeps being amplified and maintained despite the efforts of the few individuals who may try to change it.
In many occasions, also, our thoughts tend to say that it is their “own fault” if they are living that way, or simply we ignore their petitions of help. We may even think that the problems of the less fortunate may have their roots in something they have done or they deserve, and in most of the cases, we simply try not to think about “that other way of living”. The wall, the huge mental barrier made by the sum of all minds in the planet about the situation in one or more regions of the Earth, makes extremely difficult for the people living there to even realise they can change it.
The strong Collective mind
We live in a society in which manifesting a new car after having read “The Secret” seems relatively easy. The collective mind of this part of the world is more than open to that possibility, even, I would say, empowers it, due to the style of living, and for the shared and common desire of more than one person to achieve the same thing. So, as we see, the collective mind can be used as a tool to amplify some thoughts or simply to block them.
The combined thoughts of everyone projects their power towards the life of a few. As long as billions of people keep visualizing in their minds the kids in Africa as kids who die of starvation, there won’t be anyone from the inside able to change that reality. Everyone will be contributing at the same time to cancel the few positive thoughts they may project, and it is very difficult for just an individual to overcome, with his mental power, the wall the collective mind represents.
Breaking the wall
But it does not have to be this way for everyone. There are always cases of individuals, exceptional persons able to change their lives and their reality in an environment that works completely against them. These are those people that show the world the power of the individual mind, thanks to raising their personal conciousness, which allows them to break the wall of the collective mind. Even if they do so unconsciously, there are examples of persons that have managed to become a model to follow by those around them. To achieve it, probably they have had to fight against the pre-established way of looking at reality, because that way was not suitable, and their mental strength, the energy of their mind, has been strong enough to change it. If you are asking for some names, you can find easily one: Nelson Mandela.
And now, what kind of thoughts we want to put on the collective mind? What kind of world we want to build or help to maintain? Believe it or not, we all have our part of responsibility on this planet, the question is, do we accept it, or not?
